National Safety Week 2024

Every dayABC members prioritize safety on job sites. We understand that safety requires innovation, skill, talent, and a proven strategy to create industry-leading programs. Top-performing ABC members actively build health and safety into their culture, fueling the power and purpose in their people to deliver for their clients.

Since it's National Safety Week, we would like to highlight some of the ways we can help our members strengthen their current safety programs:

  • Submit your ABC's Safety Management System company assessment to measure your current safety culture, strengthen it, and then build upon it with best practices. To get involved in STEP, click here.
  • Create a custom training program with ABC's Amy Platenik! She will work with you to create tailored training exclusively for your company. You can combine an OSHA 10 with fall protection or asbestos awareness with leadership training—the options are endless! Contact Amy by clicking here.
  • Review specific Safety Week toolbox talks on your job sites - download them here.
  • Safety isn't only about the jobsite. It's about total human health, including mental health. Did you know construction has the highest rates of suicide compared to other industries? We must prioritize both jobsite safety and mental health. Check out our Total Human Health Initiative by clicking here.

This is just a glimpse of what ABC offers. We have a wide range of safety programs and resources to support our members. During National Safety Week, we want to emphasize these offerings and encourage everyone to make use of them. Our ultimate goal is perfect safety, and we are committed to working tirelessly with our members to achieve it.
