Results of Voting on H.R. 720
Bill: H.R. 720
Vote description: Water Quality Financing Act of 2007
Vote type: Yea-and-Nay
A standard vote that requires a simple majority for approval or passage of the legislation.
Result: Passed, 303-108, with 22 not voting.
Date/time: March 9, 2007, 2:18 p.m.
FINAL VOTE RESULTS FOR ROLL CALL 135 (Republicans in roman; Democrats in italic; Independents underlined)
The most positive thing we can say about this vote is that President Bush and his Administration honored their campaign promise and position not to allow expansion of Davis-Bacon and issued his veto letter on this bill before the vote. We are also proud of the Republicans who voted with us today and very disappointed with the Republicans who did not.
