Roof Systems
Introduces tables on the rafter (framing square), deals with rood construction, and explains the methods for cutting roof members.

Soldering
Covers the selection and application of materials and tools for soldering sheet metal parts and sealing seams. Job sheets for eight common sheet metal soldering problems are provided.

Gutters and Downspouts
Presents information and learning activities for calculation downspout and gutter size. Fabrication exercises included.

Roof Flashing
Outlines the principles of weather sealing as they apply to architectural sheet metal tasks. Procedures for the fabrication and installation of selected flashing components are included.

Hand Tools
Includes hands-on exercises to develop competence with various hand tools used by assemblers.

Power Tools
Covers proper use and care of the major power tools. Includes hands-on exercises.

Trim and Flashing
Covers general trim and flashing requirements of metal buildings and types of sealants used.

Roof Panel Types and Systems Design
Covers metal roofing, including both lap seam and standing seam roofs.

Covers Requirements of standing seam roof erection and variations among systems.

Installing Lap Seam Roof Systems
Covers general sequence of erection, including laying out panel modularity, placing insulations, installing panels, and splicing gutter sections.
